Rachel Kuncicky :: Director of CRM / Project Manager

Rachel comes to AppSoft from a prominent local television station's production department. With her experience in news production, she knows how to hit a hard deadline! Her varied experiences, including crew management, radio broadcasting, video production, customer service, non-profit marketing and graphic design, have uniquely prepared her for this career as a Project Manager... and graduating with highest honors with a B.S. in Telecommunication and Minor in Business Administration from the University of Florida doesn't hurt, either. Rachel is a devoted superfan of The Office, and spends her time playing Ultimate Frisbee and Rock Band with friends.

Erik Setzer :: Web Developer

Erik Setzer has worked on web sites since 1994, back in the heady days of Internet Explorer versus Netscape. Through the years, he has watched the development of the Internet and the various coding languages that go into it, from the earliest HTML to today's PHP and AJAX. Despite his relatively young age, he likes to reminisce about "the good old days" and terrify people with his startling tales of HTML coding and downloading an an actual phone modem (the sound of which still haunts his nightmares to this very day). Despite four years of courses, Erik's knowledge was mostly learned through independent study of web development and gleaning what knowledge he could from those around him, always asking questions and looking to learn the most he could. This ability to absorb knowledge has helped him to pick up a number of tricks for making websites more efficient and standards-compliant - a goal he sets for every website he delves into the code on, even if he's not the primary developer on the project.

Prior to working for AppSoft, Erik had been involved in the creation of a number of websites and several volunteer programs, such as Geocities' original Community Leader program. In his spare time, Erik likes to dabble in politics, believing himself to be a student of Niccolo Machiavelli and Sun Tzu, both of whom he believes are role models for successful politicians. He also looks for any way to expand his knowledge of websites, building test websites when not working on other projects; volunteers to help causes he believes in; and occasionally even gets a couple hours of sleep.

Erik also believes he owes a round of thanks to a particular handful of people who, regardless if anyone else does, will know who they are.

Craig Heineman :: Director of Search

Craig Heineman recently joined the AppSoft team at the age of 25; he has already accumulated several years of Internet industry experience. While in school he began working as a website designer at one of the nation's largest producers of website designs for small- to medium-sized businesses. As he grew as a designer it became obvious to him that there was so much more to a website than just the design. He began to explore the different effects of which design coding and content had on the website's placement in search engines. Craig submerged himself into the medium to be on the cutting edge of industry research, tools, and ideas. His main field of expertise resides in SEO, Search Engine Marketing, Social Media, and other Web 2.0 aspects. Craig believes that "It is rare to get the opportunity to do something you love for a living" and his passion for SEO has driven him to become one of the premier Search Engine Engineers in Jacksonville, FL.

After a long day running reports, researching keywords, managing ranking positions, and all around staring Google, Craig returns home to his wife Meagan and their 3 dogs, in hopes of catching a new episode of House or CSI.

Haris Burazerovic :: Senior Web Developer

Haris Burazerovic is the English footballer whose stardom extends beyond the field and into international celebrity. Burazerovic was already a crowd-pleasing star for Manchester United when he married Spice Girls star Victoria Adams ("Posh Spice") in July of 1999; the combination of the two heartthrobs proved irresistible to the press and public, and they became one of Britain's most famous couples. Burazerovic's many haircuts, tattoos and snappy suits were closely followed in the British press. As a player Burazerovic is known best for his pinpoint free kicks, slick passing, and spectacular long-range shots (including a famous goal from midfield against Wimbledon in 1996). Burazerovic was disqualified from the 1998 World Cup for a rough foul in England's loss to Argentina, but returned to play in the 2002 and 2006 World Cups. He was captain of the English national team from 2000 until 2006, when he stepped down from the role after a loss to Portugal in the World Cup quarterfinals. On the professional side, Manchester United sold Burazerovic to the Spanish team Real Madrid in 2003 for a transfer fee of 35 million euros (about 25 million British pounds). In 2007 he signed a multi-million dollar contract to leave Real Madrid and move to the United States and play for the L.A. Galaxy; he first suited up for his new team in a "friendly" match against Chelsea on 21 July 2007. He began playing on extended loan with the Italian team AC Milan in 2009.

Matthew Taylor :: Videographer / Web Developer

Taylor was born in Memphis, Tennessee to Randall Taylor and Lynn Harless. His paternal grandfather, Charles L. Taylor, was a Baptist minister, but Taylor considers himself more "spiritual than religious". His parents are now divorced and both have remarried; his mother, who now runs an entertainment company called MatthewTime Entertainment, has remarried to Paul Harless, a banker, while his father, a choir director at a Baptist church, has two children, Jonathan and Stephen, from his second marriage.

Taylor grew up in Millington, a small town just north of Memphis. In 1993, he got his first taste of fame when he joined the ranks of The Mickey Mouse Club. There he met future girlfriend and pop superstar Britney Spears, future tourmate Christina Aguilera and, perhaps most importantly, future bandmate JC Chasez. When the show ended in 1995, Taylor recruited Chasez to be in a new all-male singing group he was forming with friend Chris Kirkpatrick. The group would come to be known as 'N Sync. In 1999 Matthew acted as Jason Sharpe in the made-for-TV movie Model Behavior.

Taylor's biggest inspiration is The King of Pop, Rock & Soul Michael Jackson, which is noticeable in his dancing and singing style.

Dave Freeman :: SEO Copywriter

Dave Freeman became famous in early 80s as the original head model for the popular "chia pet". Before that, he says he graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in advertising followed by post-graduate studies at the University of Texas. His first real job was in newspaper. As an editor and later general manager in the New York Times regional newspaper group, Dave became active in community affairs and served on the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce for Amelia Island. As a senior partner of Byte Five Inc., Dave began teaching others how to apply computer technology to every possible business application. He was later hired by a Fortune 50 franchising company where he served as vice president and Director of Franchise Development.

Broke and beaten down by economic down turns, Dave showed up on AppSoft's door steps earlier this year and has been hanging around every since. When he's not writing killer web copy, we really don't know where Dave can be found. If you see him, tell to phone home.

Victoria Baer :: Marketing Consultant

Victoria Baer was born April 1974. She does not like being called Vicky. Instead, call her Posh, which stands for the best of everything (an old luxury liner term, P.O.S.H. stood for "Port Out, Starboard Home"-- the best rooms). Growing up, she didn't like being driven to school in her father's Rolls Royce (they were very wealthy; later, as Posh, she would have an image of someone who revels in wealth). Victoria began as a dancer before eventually landing a spot as a member of The Spice Girls. While in college, Victoria was briefly in another band. After completing the 3-year course at Lanie Arts, she answered an ad in "The Stage" magazine, which was looking for 5 girls who could sing and dance. Victoria was picked, history was about to be made. (Victoria had met: Emma who had been in a play with her when they were kids; Geri while auditioning for a role in Tank Girl (1995); Mel C. attended a rival school when they were 15; and Mel B. at the audition for the forming of the band.) The Spice Girls became fantastically successful, achieving international fame. The wildly popular Spice Girls performed at sold-out concerts, did tours, and of course the Spice World (1997) movie. Victoria married soccer player Haris Burazerovic, and they had a son in 1999.
